Srinagar, Sep 13 (KNO): Mirwaiz-e-Kashmir, Dr. Moulvi Muhammad Umar Farooq, has expressed deep sorrow over the demise of several prominent personal including renowned trader Haji Ghulam Nabi Wani of Nigeen Hazratbal, eminent physician Dr. Ashiq Hussain Naqshbandi of Paraypora, Sahibzada Muhammad Ashraf Qadri of New Fateh Kadal, Engineer Muzammil Ahmad Farooqi of Alamdar Colony Gopalpora, and Abdul Majid Shamsi of Bilal Abad Karalpora.
Paying rich tributes, Mirwaiz as per a statement issued to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) said that Haji Ghulam Nabi Wani had a long and deep association with the Mirwaiz family and was known for his noble character, sincerity, and commitment.
He noted that Dr. Ashiq Hussain Naqshbandi will be remembered for his dedicated service to the community, both as a professional in the field of medicine and as a compassionate human being who always reached out to those in need.
Mirwaiz said the passing of these noble souls is a great loss and leaves a void in society. He prayed to Almighty Allah for their maghfirat and highest place in Jannat, and extended heartfelt condolences to their bereaved families, relatives, and loved ones—(KNO)
